🍃 4 of my favourite exercises to strengthen your upper back and help correct posture! If you know me you know my posture sucks lol. These are challenging for me at the best of times but that means it’s something I have to practice regularly! 1. Chest extension + arm circle (squeeze blades back and lift higher as the arms come behind you) 2. Chest extension + H arms alternating reaches (or reach both arms at the same time) 3. A couple of my favourite Side Lying exercises that get in to your glutes and core! Add ankle weights to spice it up 🍑 3 x 20 rounds of each exercise! 1. Set yourself up + engage your core. Ribs drawn in and bottom side waist has a feeling of being lifted to maintain a long spine. 2. Hip abduction 3. Clam shell + leg extension 4. Side kick (flex foot forward + point toe back) - arm up for extra challenge 5. Développé!!! (Absolute fave) keep your top leg turned out from the hip 6. Side lying double leg lift (we can just call it that lol!) P.S.
